  • The 2021-2022 Yearbooks are on sale now for $20! Download the order form and send it in soon! The yearbook will not be sold after June 3, 2022.

  • Spirit week at the ENCSD is coming March 28 - April 1. Throughout the week staff and students can dress up for the theme of the day. The Pie a Teacher Raffle will happen at the end of the week and the winners will get to throw a whipped cream pie at a staff member on Friday. Raffle tickets will be available all week for $1 each.

  • The Leprechan has taken his pot of gold and returned to the Emerald Isle. We hope to see him again next year!

    A leprechan hid his pot o' gold on the campus and our lucky staff member Tammy Whitson found it. Congratulations Tammy! Happy St. Patty's Day y'all!

  • The Robotics Team received a trophy from the VEX IQ 2021-2022 Challenge.

    Our robotics team (Team Scatter Zone) competed against 23 teams from schools across the eastern and central U.S. Scatter Zone's hard work earned them the Judges Award. This award is reserved for the team that demonstrates hard work and perseverance during the entirety of the competition. We are immensely proud of all their efforts and the growth they have displayed through this year.

  • There will be a yearbook dedication and memorial dedicated to the celebration of the life of Kara Baldwin Cooper and Teresa Crumbley will be held at Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf, Massey Activity Center Auditorium.

    Join this happy event on May 25, 2022 at 9:00 am to spend time basking in the wonderful memories we have of them. There will be fellowship, stories, and grins, as well as snacks and drinks.

    We request that you bring your own bubble bottles for the cheerful spirit of the gathering.

  • Operation Accelerate, The ENCSD summer enrichment camp program is happening this year from June 6th to June 24th. Don't forget to RSVP.

  • The High School students made a video titled "Deaf BING" for Deaf Awareness week.

  • ENCSD is raising funds for the Senior class gift, the senior trip, and other senior tradition activities. Please consider helping out our Seniors using the Candyman Inc. Fundraising website to make a purchase from the store. Online orders can be taken until October 31.
