ENCSD recently celebrated Read Across America Day, a nationwide day of celebrating the value, importance, and fun of reading!  We kicked off the day with a book talk, a hilarious skit, and a reader's oath.   Four special guest readers were invited to do an ASL read-aloud of a book or eBook:  Bola Desalu, Associate Accessibility Relationship Manager of Relay NC, Nicole Williamson, Teacher of the Deaf, Johnston County Schools, Natasha Wood, High School History Teacher, and Frank Zhang, Educational Technology Specialist. The students enjoyed the read-alouds and learned some new fascinating things!
