  • State testing is officially over for our middle school students! To fill the last few days of school, they will be enjoying many engaging projects and activities. On Thursday, students were able to work together and use their collective creativity and create a box marble maze game! After they were finished they were able to take turns testing all the mazes that were created.ย

  • Last Friday we honored our employee anniversaries with a ceremony and hotdog cook out! Jeff Morgan, our maintenance supervisor, has been working for the state for over 30 years! Congratulations y'all!

  • This month's spotlight is on Melissa Chatman. Melissa is an ASL Coach here at the school and helps students perfect their ASL. She has worked at ENCSD for seven years. Born in Wilson, NC she grew up here and attended ENCSD. Melissa says her favorite part of the job is teaching and working with students. Earlier this year Melissa did a fantastic job helping lead cheers at a school pep rally. She has a big personality and a great sense of humor.
