- The yellow-orange flowers that bloom on the pumpkin vine are edible.
- Pumpkin seeds taste great roasted and contain medicinal properties.
- Native Americans grew and ate pumpkins and their seeds long before the Pilgrims reached this continent.

They have time-traveled into Ancient Times, taking a trip down the Nile with a crocodile, painting on the walls in the Caves of Lascaux, and visiting the ancient ruins of Stonehenge. Meanwhile, high school students have been elbow-deep in papier mâché paste constructing architectural letters and animal head trophies.

Fri, Sep 8 2023Kerstin Anderson's class has been learning about the difference between night and day and comparing the moon phases as well as learning about the constellations that we can see at night! They had a fun activity yesterday making constellations out of mini marshmallows and toothpicks!
