We are proud to announce that Cheryl Iannucci has been appointed as the new Superintendent of the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf (ENCSD)! 👏
With over 30 years of experience in education and more than 15 years dedicated to residential life, Iannucci brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to our community. Over the past year and a half, she has served as Principal and for the past 6 months, she has served as both Principal and Acting Director at ENCSD—demonstrating an unwavering commitment to our students, staff, and families.
Iannucci 's understanding of Deaf education and whole-child development will continue to guide ENCSD in providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environment for all.
