🔺Due to the inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow afternoon, ENCSD will be cancelling school Friday, January 10th.🔺
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our number one priority.
Boarding students will depart campus at 8:15 AM tomorrow.
You will be receiving a call from our Transporation Department by 4 PM today for the timing of your child's bus stop.
⚠️Due to falling temperatures and wet road conditions that may cause hazardous driving, the ENCSD will operate on a 2 hour delay on. the morning of Tuesday, January 7th. The cafeteria will open at 9:30 AM and classes will begin at 10:00 AM.

The high school students had a bear-y🐻❄️good time visiting the NC Zoo in Asheboro! Activities included: howling with the wolves 🐺, buzzing around the honeybee 🐝exhibit, and attempting to teach the gorillas 🦍 ASL.
This morning we had our 🍂Fall Festival🍁. Students walked through the 👻Haunted Halls of ENCSD🕸 knocking on doors and trick-or-treating🍬🍭🍫, painted pumpkins🎃, got their faces painted, played many games, and went on a hay ride.
