Students Paint Still Life

πŸŽ¨πŸŠπŸ‡πŸŒπŸ₯•A few of our talented ENCSD students immersed themselves in the vibrant world of Paul CΓ©zanne, painting fruits and vegetables of their choice on canvas. This creative project followed a thorough review of color theory, where students explored mixing colors and developed their color wheels with primary, secondary, and intermediate hues.

Middle School ELA Class

The Middle School students are making posters and videos about a selected Deaf Athlete in their ELA class. This is in partnership with the Deaf Awareness Committee. Come check out these posters along with others at our soccer ⚽️ game on October 15th at 4 pm.

Math 3

Our Math 3 class used number lines, inequalities, inequality notations, and interval notations to arrange card clues in correct order. The sorted cards helped students to find number combinations that opened four combination locks for each locked box. Treasured treats were found inside to congratulate students for matching the correct number lines, inequalities, inequality notations, and interval notations.

Our students are now ready for interpreting key features of functions using interval notation.

Mason Dixon Tournament Results

What an honor to host the 2024 Mason Dixon Girls Volleyball Tournament. The friendliness, the sportsmanship, the spirit, the players, coaches, athletic directors, and administration all from each deaf school that attended was a feeling that is almost unexplainable. To Alabama School for the Deaf, Kentucky School for the Deaf, Mississippi School for the Deaf, and Tennessee School for the Deaf - thank you for traveling to the ENCSD, we have memories that will last a lifetime!
